Google said it has removed more than 1,700 Android apps infected with the malware Bread (Joker) since 2017. Google has defined the operation as one of the most persistent challenges in the company’s history. While malware operators have a tendency to give up once Google locates their softwares, the Bread group allegedly never did. Bread operators have been fabricating new models of their virus on a weekly basis.
